The process of laser etching uses focuses high heat laser on the surface of the leather essentially vaporizing the top layer. The result, a highly detailed fine line image. Laser etching differs from other methods in that the etching itself is relatively shallow which allows the hide to maintain it's integrity during its lifecycle.
